Consider requesting additional lighting for your late evening walks, as the paths can be quite dark and muddy.

Unique period features in the rooms add character, creating a cozy atmosphere. The freestanding bath provides a charming touch, reminiscent of a bygone era.
Signage to the property needs improvement. navigating to the hotel at night was tricky and involved driving through a fast stream. Room 3 has stiff window blinds and a loose door lock that can be a bit fiddly. Small bedside tables in Room 4 don't accommodate essentials very well, making it a challenge to keep personal items within reach, especially at night.

Staying here was a treat! We loved enjoying coffee on the patio and relaxing by the garden, which gave such a peaceful vibe. The only small thing was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but we’d definitely recommend it for a lovely getaway! ☕️

we loved the peaceful location and had a really comfy room. breakfast was amazin, with tons of choices and cool coffee. Nick and Tim were the best hosts, makin sure we had everything we needed. also, the nice treats like chocolates were a sweet touch. overall, the vibe was just so chill and welcoming.
the only issue was the duvet being way too hot which made it hard to sleep well. could’ve used more cotton sheets instead.

Exceptional Hospitality and Delicious Breakfast
Our stay was truly delightful! The hosts were incredibly warm and made us feel right at home, even helping with our bags upon arrival. Breakfast was a highlight, freshly prepared with a great variety, including eggs from the hens on the property. The room was comfortable and impeccably clean. The added touches like snacks made it feel extra special. An area for improvement might be the noise from the creaky stairs.
